Scott Hall, Territory Sales Manager | N. Illinois

Scott Hall brings 20 years of agriculture sales and business development experience to Calcium Products joining the team in 2017. Scott is responsible for northern Illinois and eastern Iowa. Most recently, Scott worked as a Sr Technical Sales Specialist for Bayer Crop Science. He grew up on a grain and livestock farm in Western Illinois. Scott has an agronomy degree from Western Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Iowa. When Scott is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys boating and fishing in southeast Alaska.  Scott resides near Geneseo, IL.

Mikel Scholten, Territory Sales Manager | South Dakota | North Dakota

Mikel Scholten joined the Calcium Products team in 2017 and is responsible for North Dakota and South Dakota. Mikel has worked in the sales industry for 15 years, with experience ranging from the medical field to the agriculture industry. Most recently, she has specialized in sales and support of inoculants and in-furrow seed treatments for Rosen’s Diversified Inc. Mikel graduated from Northern State University in 1999 with a degree in biology and with minors in chemistry and psychology. In 2003, she received her Master of Business Administration and a Masters of Management from the University of Mary. Mikel grew up on a diversified crop and livestock farm in South Dakota and she currently resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Glen Howell, Technical Sales Agronomist

Glen started with Calcium Products in 2008 bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in row-crop production. He supports customers across our sales territories. Glen farmed for more than 10 years until 2004 while also selling and servicing ag and construction GPS equipment for 3 ½ years. Concurrently, he served as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and Iowa Army National Guard from 1993 until 2004. Prior to joining the Calcium Products team, Glen worked in ag retail for almost five years as a sales agronomist, location manager and agronomy manager. Glen holds two degrees in agronomy and crop science; he graduated from Iowa State University with his bachelor’s in 1993 and completed his master’s in 2013. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).

Paul Cushing, Territory Sales Manager | Turf and Agriculture, Western U.S.

Paul came on board at Calcium Products in 2016 after an extensive 27-year career in turf management. In addition to his responsibilities for Calcium Products sales in the professional turf industry, Paul is an independent agronomic consultant for golf courses and sports turf. Most recently, Paul worked for more than five years as the Assistant Deputy Director of Golf Course Operations for the City of San Diego managing a 98-person staff and five golf courses, including Torrey Pines, the annual home of the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open. Paul spent two years away from the golf course as the Regional Operations Manager for ValleyCrest Companies, overseeing the maintenance of more than 100 commercial landscape accounts, including Disneyland Park and Resort, Angel Stadium and the Richard Nixon Library. Paul spent the first half of his career as a Director of Golf Course Construction and Maintenance Operations at several California and Nevada golf courses, four of which are ranked in the top-100 courses in America. He has a bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is proficient in Spanish as a second language. Paul lives in San Diego, California.

Brian Easland, Territory Sales Manager | Nebraska & Kansas

Brian Easland came to Calcium Products in 2017 with more than 20 years of ag sales and marketing experience collaborating with growers, retailers, consultants and distributors. He supports customers in Nebraska and Kansas. He earned his ag economics/ag business degree from South Dakota State University in 1994. He recently managed his own crop consulting business, and also worked with Syngenta Crop Protection in northeast Nebraska for nine years. He worked for Agrilliance (now Winfield United ) for eight years in North Dakota and Nebraska. In addition, he has held his CCA certification for 18 years in North Dakota and Nebraska.  Brian is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys sports and his kids’ activities.  He lives with his wife and two children near Norfolk, NE.

Ritchie Schaefer, Territory Sales Manager | Minnesota

Ritchie Schaefer joined the Calcium Products team in 2017 to support sales in Minnesota. He started his career working six years in ag retail as a precision ag specialist and agronomist for Crystal Valley Coop in Minnesota. He most recently worked as an account manager for Aglytix, a small precision ag software company in Mankato, MN. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2010. Ritchie is active in his community of Mankato, MN, including serving as a board member for his county Farm Bureau. Ritchie is passionate about his work and also enjoys hunting and fishing.

Becky Heck, Territory Sales Manager | Wisconsin

Becky came on board at Calcium Products in 2014 and is responsible for the Wisconsin sales territory. She came to Calcium Products from DuPont Crop Protection where she worked as a technical sales agronomist. Prior to Becky’s role at DuPont, she worked for BASF in new product development, placing on-farm trials and collecting data. Becky started her career and spent 13 years with Agrilliance, now called WinField Solutions, managing a service center in northwest Wisconsin. Becky graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in soil and crop science. She was raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm and currently lives in Mineral Point, Wisconsin.

Jeff Hoemann, Territory Sales Manager | Iowa

Jeff joined Calcium Products in 2012 with an extensive history in agricultural sales including fertilizer, seed and equipment. Most recently, Jeff worked as a district sales manager in Iowa for Nachurs-Alpine Solutions, an industry leader in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium liquid fertilizer. Jeff started his career and spent 17 years with American Cyanamid Co. contributing to the company’s aggressive growth in crop protection products. Jeff graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business. He was raised on a farm in western Iowa and currently lives in Des Moines, Iowa.

John Krueger, Territory Sales Manager | S. Illinois & Missouri

John started with Calcium Products in 2014 and is responsible for the company’s sales in southern Illinois and Missouri. John has a wide array of experiences in ag sales and operations. He joined Calcium Products after working for various agriculture retail businesses selling crop production inputs and crop insurance. John spent the first 29 years of his career with GROWMARK member companies as a crop specialist and sales and marketing manager. He grew up on a dairy farm in southern Wisconsin and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in ag business from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He currently lives in Okawville, Illinois.

Brian Milam, Territory Sales Manager | Turf, Eastern U.S.

Brian joined the Calcium Products team in 2009 charged with growing the company’s professional turf business. Prior to starting with Calcium Products, Brian was a golf professional for the first 11 years of his career. Most recently, he worked for two years as a store manager and director of instruction at GolfTEC. The first nine years of his career was with Kohler Company working as a golf professional at Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits in Wisconsin. While with Kohler, Brian contributed to the successful execution of the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2001 PGA Club Professional Championship and the 2004 PGA Championship. Brian graduated with two bachelor’s degrees, professional golf management and marketing, from Mississippi State University in 1998.
