Brian Easland, Territory Sales Manager | Nebraska & Kansas

Brian Easland came to Calcium Products in 2017 with more than 20 years of ag sales and marketing experience collaborating with growers, retailers, consultants and distributors. He supports customers in Nebraska and Kansas. He earned his ag economics/ag business degree from South Dakota State University in 1994. He recently managed his own crop consulting business, and also worked with Syngenta Crop Protection in northeast Nebraska for nine years. He worked for Agrilliance (now Winfield United ) for eight years in North Dakota and Nebraska. In addition, he has held his CCA certification for 18 years in North Dakota and Nebraska.  Brian is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys sports and his kids’ activities.  He lives with his wife and two children near Norfolk, NE.

Scott Hall, Territory Sales Manager – Northern Illinois

Scott Hall brings 20 years of agriculture sales and business development experience to the Calcium Products team. Most recently, Scott worked as a Sr Technical Sales Specialist for Bayer Crop Science. He grew up on a grain and livestock farm in Western Illinois. Scott has an agronomy degree from Western Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Iowa. When Scott is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys boating and fishing in southeast Alaska. Scott resides near Geneseo, IL.

Ritchie Schaefer, Territory Sales Manager – Minnesota

Ritchie Schaefer started his career working six years in ag retail as a precision ag specialist and agronomist for Crystal Valley Coop in Minnesota. He most recently worked as an account manager for Aglytix, a small precision ag software company in Mankato, MN. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2010. Ritchie is active in his community of Mankato, MN, including serving as a board member for his county Farm Bureau. Ritchie is passionate about his work and also enjoys hunting and fishing.

Glen Howell, Technical Sales Agronomist

With the addition of Brian Easland in Nebraska, we will be transitioning Glen Howell from a Territory Sales Manager to a Technical Sales Agronomist supporting customers throughout our sales territories.

Glen started with Calcium Products in 2008 bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in row-crop production. Glen farmed for more than 10 years until 2004 while also selling and servicing ag and construction GPS equipment for 3 ½ years. Prior to joining the Calcium Products team, Glen worked in ag retail for almost five years as a sales agronomist, location manager and agronomy manager. Glen holds two degrees in agronomy and crop science; he graduated from Iowa State University with his bachelor’s in 1993 and completed his master’s in 2013. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).

Resources on Flooding

Our thoughts go out to all those affected by flooding. I can’t remember a time when we had flooding issue in (almost) July! In addition to not being able to get into the fields to spray weeds, the stand losses , and nitrogen leaching; flooding affects the soil in many ways.

Glen Howell, Technical Sales Agronomist

Concurrently, he served as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and Iowa Army National Guard from 1993 until 2004. Prior to joining the Calcium Products team, Glen worked in ag retail for almost five years as a sales agronomist, location manager and agronomy manager. Glen holds two degrees in agronomy and crop science; he graduated from Iowa State University with his bachelor’s in 1993 and completed his master’s in 2013. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).
